The sweetest treats and gifts come from The Buttered Tin! We offer online ordering and local pickup at our NE Minneapolis and St. Paul locations for the following items: cakes, cookies, bars, cupcakes, fresh baked pies, and freshly frozen pies.

Scratch-made Cakes, Cookies & Sweets
Local bakery items are available for pickup at our NE Minneapolis or St. Paul restaurant location. Unfortunately, we cannot ship these items nationally but offer bakery and cake delivery in MN depending on location.
We believe in paying all staff a sustainable living wage and add a 20% surcharge to all local bakery orders to support these efforts. Bakery delivery is restricted to a 10-mile radius within Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Freshly Baked Pies
Scratch-made with REAL butter, fresh ingredients, and love, our freshly baked pies are the perfect sweet for any occasion! Whole pies and mini pies are available in eleven mouthwatering flavors, from classic apple pie to decadent s’more pie. We also make hand pies in four delightful flavors.
Cupcakes
Cupcakes are the perfect sweet surprise for celebrations, work events, or to help brighten someone’s day. 🙂 Our cupcakes come in twenty fun, yummy flavors. Order a single flavor or choose a specialty dozen for some flavor variety. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
Layer Cakes (local pickup)
Piled high with moist cakey goodness and rich buttercream frosting, our layer cakes will have everyone asking for a second slice! Pick from twenty flavors like classic White Wedding (a party favorite), delightfully tart Key Lime Pie, and oh-so-rich Mocha Choca Latte.
TBT Cookies
Sweet, buttery, and delicious—cookies really are the perfect treat! Order whoopie pies, custom-decorated sugar cookies, or classic TBT cookie flavors. We also have cookie tins featuring one dozen of our most popular cookie flavors!

Chewy, gooey, and dangerously delicious! There’s a reason dessert bars are a classic staple of any Midwestern gathering. Order full-size bars and bar bites in eight delightful flavors!
Lowertown Twinkies
It’s our scratch-made take on the famous snack cake! Perfectly moist yellow cake filled with fresh whipped cream–no preservatives, just fresh ingredients. Pick up a few extras to share with your favorite people!
Cheddar Biscuits
Buttery, flaky biscuits with rich cheddar cheese and earthy thyme. Our cheddar biscuits are perfect alone, or use them to make super scrumptious breakfast sammies!
Online Cake Ordering for Shipment Nationwide
Our scratch-made bakery uses thoughtfully sourced ingredients and REAL butter in every cake. Flavors available for overnight cake delivery include White Wedding Cake, Red Velvety Cake, Sweet Jane Vanilla Cake, and Mocha Choca Latte Cake.
We require a 72-hour turnaround for online cake ordering. Cakes are baked fresh, then cool packed and shipped overnight to ensure you get the freshest treats! Every order includes serving instructions with simple steps to keep your cake fresh and ready to eat.

The Buttered Tin e-cards and gift cards are the perfect sweet surprise for any celebration or occasion! Choose to have an e-card sent to your recipient via email, or order “old school” physical gift cards we mail to your address. ($5 minimum gift card amount)

Sweeten your gatherings and special occasions with a custom layer cake or celebration cake! scratch-made pies, cookies, bars, and cupcakes are also available to order for meetings, celebrations, or any other occasion. We’ll work with you to create the dessert spread of your dreams. 🙂Â
Custom orders require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. We offer in-person pickup in NE Minneapolis or St. Paul or can deliver locally for an additional fee. A 20% surcharge is added to each custom bakery order as part of our efforts to pay our staff a sustainable living wage.
